New steps in the use of machine vision for quality control of parts

One of the key points of our fineblanking process and the subsequent injection of plastic into metal parts is automated quality control.
For example, in the production of car locks, the quality assurance of these parts is essential in order to meet automotive safety standards. We have therefore been working for years on the use of machine vision as a technology for the quality control of these parts and we continue to take steps forward.
In the last few weeks at our plant in Antzuola we have been testing different references, with different geometries to validate the control through artificial vision and to be more efficient for our processes and for our customers. We are overcoming several challenges regarding the mechanical handling of the parts and the correct detection of the different types of faults.
